“As for me, I am tormented with an everlasting itch for things remote. I love to sail forbidden seas, and land on barbarous coasts.” ― Herman Melville

I live to experience something new each day -
                                              to learn something new,
                                              meet a new friend,
                                              bring joy into someone's life,
feel the wind newly on my skin,
touch a new fear, a new anger,
and with focused intent and good fortune,
find an ample measure of my own joy.

  1. Living simultaneously in many corners of the world one woman called Angela manages through her excellent art to compose thoughts, feelings and experiences in an admirable way.The best proof is that her work attracts the look even of people who are uninitiated like me.

  2. Oddly enough, my own thoughts on your blog are following the same thoughts as Yannis'. I love how the size of the village gives some idea of the scope of this view. Same with the small buildings in the second piece. Just gorgeous, Angela!

  4. Thanks everyone! I spent a fantastic weekend in Madeira, walking the levadas, visiting old friends and seeing some of my favourite haunts.
